Acme Synthetic Chemicals was set up in 1970 by the Kallianpur family which began their foray into entrepreneurship by establishing Acme Soap Works, a soap and detergent manufacturing unit, in the year 1947.
From day one the emphasis was on rigorous internal R & D to develop cost effective environmentally friendly processes for producing technically complexACME products of the highest quality.
Acme pioneered the manufacture of Chromatographic adsorbents like Silicagel & Aluminium Oxide. At around the same time High purity Lipid Chemicals ( 99% min. by GC ) were also introduced.
Later Acme focused on Castor Oil derivatives since India is the largest producer of Castor Oil. Acme standardised technology for the continous cracking of Castor Oil, for the first time in India. Today the new manufacturing set-up of for continous cracking , set up with associates, has a capacity of 1000 tons of Undecylenic Acid per annum.
Today Acmes activities can be grouped mainly around Chromatographic adsorbents, Perfumery ingredients, Speciality Chemicals mainly based on oils and fats and high purity difficult to purify fatty acids and their derivatives.
Acmes products are exported all over the world in small packs,Drums and Iso Tanks. Acme has established a track record of supplying quality products at fair prices, with unfailing adherence to delivery schedules.
